Specialised Trainers for all your BA needs
Get your teams working with their equipment confidently. Both the emergency (Unit standard 3272) and workplace ( Unit standard 25044) courses cover how to put on, wear and use your BA sets in a safe and compliant way.
Our trainers come to you with full sets, or we can use your sets if you prefer.
Training is a mix of practical sessions and theory work which includes a take-home, comprehensive study guide to consolidate learning.
We travel to your site so you have the added bonus of our qualified trainers checking how you store your equipment.
Our experienced trainers can guide you to coordinate the breathing apparatus training program you need. Courses including all types of scenarios such as confined entries, short or long periods of time, group work and what to do when things go wrong.
Learn how to wear and operate BA sets in an emergency and gain NZQA unit standard 3272 or achieve unit standard 25044 if you need to wear a BA in the workplace. We can teach and credit both types of training.
After completing the course we load your units with NZQA, provide an achievement certificate and a wallet ID card if required.
This course ensures a full understanding of the components of the sets, covers the types of tests that should be done on a harness and cylinders, how to start up and shut down the set and also what to do if there is failure with the gear.
Do you have questions about your gear, storage, checks or responsibilities under law? Talk to our trainers who have many years industry experience, are Fire and Emergency New Zealand trained and are up-to-date on the latest government standards and requirements for business owners when it comes to using and storing breathing apparatus equipment.
“We provide for companies and organisations the convenience of ensuring everything is taken care of from beginning to finish, with the only requirement from them is to ensure their staff turn up.”
